Digital Age
(Eric
Erskine) 2005
On Eric's third full length CD "Digital Age" he once again uses the
recording studio to surround his mature and beautiful songwriting
with haunting rhythms and timeless instrumental beauty. Eric's high
tenor shines throughout and separates him from the pack as a truly
unique artist. |

Live And Let Live |
Gettysburg
(Rex Fowler)
2000
"Gettysburg: Reflections on an American Life" is an exceedingly
well done concept CD. This is musical poetry akin to David Crosby’s
best (and earliest) solo work, adult themed vignettes of winning and
losing, of a life well-lived and loved. Excellent post-modern folk…
Four solid stars."
George A. Fletcher/ Rhythm and News/Wappingers
Falls, NY
"Recorded and produced at Top Of The Hill
Studios in Eaton NH, Fowler and Dean have masterfully created an
album which is grand in scale and intimate in it's ability to touch
the listener. Ten powerfully dramatic songs which entertain and are
thought-provoking at the same time."

I Still Miss Someone |
Layin Down Roots
(Tom Yoder) 2001
"The immensely talented Yoder co-produced Roots with one of New
Hampshire’s best singer-songwriters and former Devonsquare member
Tom Dean, who sometimes pairs with Yoder on stage as a duo. And Dean
is no slacker at assembling songs into pretty packages; just check
out his Your Own Backyard (Dev Productions, 1999)."
"This first solo outing for longstanding Don Campbell Band fiddle,
mandolin and guitar journeyman Tom Yoder gives meaning to the word
‘multiform.’ Sampling deep within the well of acoustic roots style
country and blues, Layin Down Roots also treads the terrain of Old
and New Country with a little New Grass, pop balladry and a sizzling
jig/reel thrown in the pot for this mostly all original compilation.
An outstanding debut."

Still Life
( Eric Erskine)
2001
"On his new album, Erskine has met every one of my expectations and
exceeded them. This is a beautiful album. Erskine's voice has
matured, rounded and mellowed. Before, his excellent tenor voice was
almost too high. Now it is just about the perfect tenor for popular
music. "

Love Is Always Gonna Look Just Like You |
Your Own Backyard
( Tom Dean)
1999
He's simply one of the finest singer-songwriter-musicians, walking
this planet today. His music is exciting, mystical, haunting,
impassioned, subliminal. This has to be one of the best independent
albums to come out this year. Having never been previously
introduced to Tom's music, I have now become a convert. I have
missed this kind of sound for quite some time. It seemed to have
faded with the Simon and Garfunkel era.......that well-produced
sound with intelligent lyrics can be found with this project. If you
love music for the quality of the sound and the depth of the
songwriting, this is the album to have.
